When you visit this website
Our hosting provider records standard server log data: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page requested, the date and time of the request, and the referring page. This data is needed to deliver the site and to keep it secure and stable. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is kept only as long as needed for these purposes and is not used to identify you personally.
Contact form
Our contact form asks for your name, e-mail address and message. When you submit it, these details are sent by e-mail to the responsible people at daicon AG so we can answer you. We do not store form submissions in a database on this website, and we do not use them for marketing.
Legal basis: your enquiry is handled on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, plus any statutory retention period that applies.
Google reCAPTCHA
We use reCAPTCHA v3, a service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), to protect our contact form from automated abuse. reCAPTCHA analyses signals such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, and interaction patterns in order to distinguish human visitors from bots. This analysis runs on pages of this website, and the data is transmitted to Google. reCAPTCHA also stores an entry named _grecaptcha in your browser's local storage.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses. Google Fonts
The typefaces used on this site (Montserrat and Inter) are currently loaded from Google's servers when a page opens. This transmits your IP address to Google. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a consistent presentation of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See the Google Privacy Policy.
Website security
We use Wordfence to protect this website against attacks. It processes IP addresses and request metadata in order to detect and block malicious traffic and login attempts. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security of our systems (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own. We use no web analytics, no advertising networks, no social media tracking pixels and no profiling. The only data stored in your browser is the _grecaptcha entry described above.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data and we do not pass it to third parties for their own purposes. Data is disclosed only to our hosting provider and to the service providers named above (Google, Wordfence), each acting for the purposes described, or where we are required to do so by law.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions of applicable law, you have the right to:

- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- have processing restricted;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;

Complaints

Automated decision-making
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you.
